Review: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

6 Stars!

One of the best books I have had the opportunity to read all year!

Feyre’s survival rests upon her ability to hunt and kill – the forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price …

Dragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest. Feyre’s presence at the court is closely guarded, and as she begins to learn why, her feelings for him turn from hostility to passion and the faerie lands become an even more dangerous place. Feyre must fight to break an ancient curse, or she will lose him forever.

Where to even begin? I stumbled across this series from Vilma’s Book Blog and am so happy I did.
If you are looking for an amazing fantasy book that will suck you into the pages, then look no further! This is the book for you!

I absolutely loved this book, I couldn’t get enough! As a mother to two small children, my time is very limited and let’s just say I spent every free moment within the pages of this book! I just had to know what would happen next for Feyre, to Tamlin & overall to their worlds. I am so excited to dive into book two as soon as possible.

Take my word, this book is nothing less that wonderful. The writing is truly great and I love the details. I love the creativity, it’s phenomenal! This is the first book I have read by Sarah J. Maas and I promise it won’t be the last.

I want to talk so much about this book, to go into a deep conversation about all that happened but I however don’t want to ruin it for anyone. I promise you’ll love this book if you enjoy this genre. I began reading it without fully reading the blurb and am so glad I just dove straight in.
Don’t wait another minute if you have yet to read this book, go now and purchase it. While you’re at it, purchase the other two as well because like me you will be anxious to start book two the moment you end this one!
