From #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes a new story in her Wicked series…

She’s everything he wants….

Cold. Heartless. Deadly. Whispers of his name alone bring fear to fae and mortals alike. The Prince. There is nothing in the mortal world more dangerous than him. Haunted by a past he couldn’t control, all Caden desires is revenge against those who’d wronged him, trapping him in never-ending nightmare. And there is one person he knows can help him.

She’s everything he can’t have…

Raised within the Order, Brighton Jussier knows just how dangerous the Prince is, reformed or not. She’d seen firsthand what atrocities he could be capable of. The last thing she wants to do is help him, but he leaves her little choice. Forced to work alongside him, she begins to see the man under the bitter ice. Yearning for him feels like the definition of insanity, but there’s no denying the heat in his touch and the wicked promise is his stare.

She’s everything he’ll take….

But there’s someone out there who wants to return the Prince to his former self. A walking, breathing nightmare that is hell bent on destroying the world and everyone close to him. The last thing either of them needs is a distraction, but with the attraction growing between them each now, the one thing he wants more than anything may be the one thing that will be his undoing.

She’s everything he’d die for….

5 Stars

Just Wow!!
I want more, like Yesterday! Holy Smokes I was honestly not expecting to fall completely in Love with this story, at least not in the way I have. I was so unsure and a little afraid that I wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy this story because one it is a novella, and two it was from a new POV. I loved Ivy & Ren’s story so much that it was a little hard for me to find the complete excitement over this one.
BUT Jennifer L. Armentrout has completely left me reeling with this book!!!
I am at such a loss for the right words, my mind just keeps thinking, and going back to those last pages. Caden has completely stolen my Book Boyfriend love! He is just so perfect and messed up at the same time! And Brighton, I loved her! I loved these two so freaking much! See, I can’t even form proper sentences.
The Prince as we remembered had been awful, but it wasn’t truly him. He had been under the Spell of the Queen who forced him to do such terrible things especially to Ivy. Now he is living as the Summer Court Prince with so much vengeance inside of him towards the Queen and all those who supported her. He wasn’t in control of what he did but he can fully remember every single things he did to each person. He hates himself for it.
Brighton has been dealt the worst hand of cards most of her life, she can’t seem to escape the bad. She’s a member of the Order but not in the same sense as Ivy. Life happened and in so it caused her to be the girl who studied the books, not a fighter. Life happens though, and with that being so she is now full of Vengeance and wants Justice. She is thrown for such a loop when she continues to run into the Prince, Caden and is utterly confused at how he makes her feel.

“You’re not a Ghost. You never could be one, not when you burn as brilliant as the sun”

The chemistry between Caden and Brighton is off the charts HOT! But it is so much more than just chemistry, there is something there between the two of them that leaves you yearning for more, so much more. NOW Spoiler, sort of.
It is a cliffhanger! Well in my book opinion it is. I know, I know this is what many of us readers hate but wow Jennifer L. Armentrout leaves this book hanging open with so much potential and want. I seriously couldn’t sleep after finishing this story. All I could think about was how it ended, the event that unfolded within those last pages and what that meant for both Caden and Brighton. Not only individually but for the two of them as well.
I know one thing is for certain, I will be stalking, I mean following Jennifer’s pages for updates on a future book/novella and praying that it’ll also be in Brighton’s POV because I need so much more of these two, of their story. Hope everyone loves this Novella as much as I have!
