Release + Review Blitz: Tragic by Devney Perry

Kaine Reynolds wants nothing more than solitude. After an unthinkable tragedy destroys his family, he’s cut off all ties to his former life so he can battle his grief the only way he knows how.W

So when Piper Campbell knocks on his door, rambling on about being his new neighbor, he slams the door in her face.

But Kaine’s gruff demeanor doesn’t scare her. She’s set on living in Montana and starting over after a terrible divorce. And she wouldn’t mind having a fling to chase away the pain of her husband’s betrayal. Her handsome, albeit rude, neighbor is the perfect candidate.

Yet what neither of them suspect is that their no-strings affair will result in the surprise of Piper’s lifetime—and Kaine’s worst fear.

5 Magically Beautiful Stars!

Tragic is just that, it’s a tragically beautiful love story of two people who are trying to escape from the pain they have living within themselves.

Piper wants nothing more than to leave the life she has always known behind in New York, and moving to Lark Cover seems like the perfect place to do so. Her boss, Logan and his family is there and it’s far away from her ex-husband.

After discovering the most beautiful mountainside with a home she can make hers she meets her new neighbor and soon finds herself in a casual fling. However, casual isn’t always as easy as one hopes it to be.

Kaine is rugged, quiet, and has so much pain reflecting in his eyes that Piper can’t help but want to wrap herself around him. His past is a mystery to Piper, and the chemistry the two share is out of this world that they both can’t help but to lose themselves to it whenever they are within proximity to one another. Kaine hasn’t so much as spoken a few words to another person in years, and wants to remain alone with the isolation of the mountain around him but Piper does something to him that he can’t quite understand.

Why Her? He finds himself asking this question more often than not, and staying away from her becomes harder and harder but is past is too much for him.

Devney Perry delivers such a heartfelt and raw story that you can’t help but to fall in love with. The characters are flawed, but real and I loved reading their story. Seeing them move past all the pain that had hurt them. I loved this story, and I knew without a doubt that I would before I ever began to read it but wow! I truly loved it so much more than I had even anticipated! My emotions were running wild with this book. One second I was smiling like a silly school girl, and the next I was trying to hold back tears. My heart hurt for Kaine and Piper, for what they each had been through but also my heart soared for them as I read page by page.

Devney Perry never disappoints with her words, and has become one of my favorite authors!! Tragic is most certainly moving into a Top favorite book of the year!! ❤
