Blurb:

Hollywood is a temptress, a trickster, a soul-stealing devil. I married an A-list player, knowing I come second place to his craft. But Lucas and I are a golden couple, a modern-day fairy tale.

I’ve never doubted what we built…until the sudden death of Lucas’s best friend has scandal rocking the Hills and shaking the foundation of our relationship.

I chose Lucas as my safe haven…he chose the role of a lifetime.

For the next three months, I’ll share my nights with a stranger, watching as he buries his pain, immersed in his role and living as someone else.

We’ve done this before. I tell myself it’s just another movie, and he’ll return to me.

I should’ve known this time would be different.

To get my husband back, I’ll need the strength of ten men.

As it turns out, I’ll have to go through two.

Review

5 Stars!!

Just wow!! I went into reading Method mostly blind knowing that recent books published by Kate Stewart have pulled me in so I was hoping for the same. I can admit that I wasn’t disappointed.

Kate Stewart has written a book so wonderfully it’s insane. The storyline is on point.

She weaves together a story of past and present so perfectly that you find yourself on the edge of your seat eagerly hoping for more. I typically am not a fan of books that bounce back and forth from the past to the present and back, especially if they have more than one POV but this book wasn’t at all confusing.

Kate’s storytelling is truly unique! Method elicits so many emotions from being hopeful to downright feeling your eyes gloss over with empathy for the characters. I felt as if I was sitting right along with both Lucas & Mila.

Lucas is a Method actor who becomes the characters that he is playing but for the role he has accepted, he takes it to an entirely new level. One that Mila never expected. Lucas losing his best friend was hard but she couldn’t have ever imagine just how hard it would impact Lucas.

Mila and Lucas are so perfect for one another. They aren’t your typical book couple that everything just falls into place for. No, they have lots of ups and downs. However, the love they feel for one another is powerful. Such a deep soul crushing love that one can only hope for. They have to fight for each other but also for themselves. They have to learn just who they are and learn to accept it.

The connection between our two main characters is so raw and real. I loved this book. This is a very emotional read, one that will have you feeling like you are almost drowning with Lucas and Mila.

I wish I could articulate exactly how I feel but it is tough. My mind is still spiraling from this book, but I will say I loved how it ended. It was the perfect ending. Kate you truly are a phenomenal writer who builds such beautiful stories and that cameo had me smiling so big.

A huge standing ovation to you Kate Stewart for writing so a beautifully exquisite story!
